SHYSTAR (12) resumed with a narrow maiden win as favourite at Geelong and should be fitter for it. Before a spell she ran third to subsequent G1 winner Ole Dancer. She gets in on the minimum here and has strong claims. TEN WARRIORS (4) was a horror watch first up at Geelong, well backed as $2.30 favourite but getting shuffled right back in the run, held up and then charging late for second. He's still a maiden in a Class 3 but the ability is there and he can atone. PUGLIA (9) got the maiden out of the way last time and might be able to go on with it.
