Exciting colt LOUCASSO (1) showed his class with a resuming win over all of these rivals in the heat where he drew wide and had to work forward to find the front before going on to score by 2.3m at this circuit and distance. That took his record to six from eight and was his first outing since a Group 1 victory in the Protostar in Brisbane in July so it is sure to have improved him. The marble has fallen beautifully for him and will see him very hard to stop. CARDIGAN DAN (8) has worked his way back into form, winning a Vicbred consolation two back before chasing LOUCASSO for a second in the heat. It won't be easy to turn to the tables but he draws to trail that rival so look for him along the sprint lane again. LUVTOBEUPTOME (4) continued his consistent form when he chased the top-two home in the heats and did well to come from a similar draw to this for second in the Vicbred final prior. A big gap to the rest with EYENEEDTHAT (6) next in line.
