A tricky 2YO race here. SIPPA SPRITZ (10) is a daughter of Splintex on debut for the Dan & Ben Pearce yard following a recent trial win earlier this week. She showed good speed there and the inside draw should see her up on the pace again here. Can land the knockout blow. RUTHLESS ANGEL (9) comes through the same trial where she was solid behind SIPPA SPRITZ. It's a niggle that Pike doesn't stick from the trials, but she maps for a nice run and that trial looks one of the stronger ones coming into this. BOY CRUSH (1) missed as an odds-on pop after a big win over 1100m on debut. Needs some luck from the draw but the drop in trip looks suitable and he can return to winning ways. RUN RUPERT RUN (3) was quick in a 400m trial recently at Belmont with Chris Parnham sticking from that outing. Can feature in the finish. COS I AM (8) is another who has trialled nicely coming into this and is not to be discounted on debut.
