Racing well this prep, the latest effort a solid third at Cranbourne over 1600m after being prominent from the outset, which followed two other placings. PUNIC WAR (4) is an 11-start maiden who finished fourth at his most recent outing over 1500m at Sandown-Hillside. Had a few goes, but racing too well to dismiss. RUMBLE TOWN (6) lifted strongly only to just miss last start over 1300m at Seymour. Perfectly placed and well-drawn, so sure to take plenty of stopping. ANGEL FEET (3) hasn't placed in five starts, but most have been in town in much tougher races than this and is likely to have benefited from the time between preps.
