Meets some smarter types this time but the race experience will prove invaluable. MARTIST (6) is another Gollan runner facing the starter for the first time. By Trapeze Artist from an Astern mare. Finished half a length behind what looks a smart one when in his latest heat on 10 February. Watch the betting. Debutant GIRMAY (4) won a trial here in slightly quicker time than the one that MARTIST comes through on the same day. Jack Bruce has a nice strike rate with first starters.
