The G1 Underwood Stakes. SIR DELIUS (9) just gets the nod. He's a highly promising former import who was backed off the map to win his Australian debut in Queensland in fast time. The return run in the G2 Chelmsford Stakes behind Lindermann was a cracker, getting within a head on the line. He'll come across and settle in the first pair and from there, he may just be too hard to get past. BUCKAROO (2) won this race last year when third up. He tackles it second up now going straight from 1400m but did hit the line very well for third in a very fast G1 Memsie Stakes. Shinn goes aboard and he'll be very hard to hold out. MOIRA (10) has been building nicely in two runs this time in and now gets her chance drawn ideally out to 1800m. MIDDLE EARTH (7) was good fresh under 62kg. The Cups might be more his go but he's a good horse and can run very well. DESERT LIGHTNING (4) is flying, this is another test with more pressure.
