EYE KEEP SMILING (7) is regarded as the best mare in Australia and makes her first appearance since a huge performance for a close third against the boys from a tough barrier in the G1 Len Smile Mile at Menangle in September. Won 11 in a row prior, two at G1 level, and loves this distance with nine wins from 12 attempts. Draws wide but races well fresh and has been readied with a trial. STENO (8) is a now a stablemate of EYE KEEP SMILING having joined Luke McCarthy since she was runner-up to that rival when last seen in the G1 Golden Girl in Brisbane in July. Was very consistent with a string of placings prior, often without luck. Strikes at 50 per cent when fresh and should be ready to go off a trial win.
