EKTIFIRE (7) travelled midfield then had trouble finding clear galloping space until the race was all over on debut last start over this distance at Canterbury. Only beaten two lengths that evening so with a bit more luck she could have been a contender. This looks a very nice race for her to open the account. CONCRETE STORM (1) debuted in the same race as EKTIFIRE at Canterbury but was never in the hunt after racing rearwards from a wide alley. Goes from the outside stall to the fence this time so he can travel closer. Watch for a much better performance. POMELO CHAMOMILE (9) raced wide without cover which made her job very difficult first-up over 900m at Newcastle. Will appreciate the extra 200m and from a nice alley is a genuine contender. MOROSINI (8) is a first starter for the Bjorn Baker stable. The latest of her three trials was the most impressive so she seems to be coming along nicely. Market watch on debutant DON'T LOOK BACK (3) who placed in a recent Wyong trial.
