WAITPINGA STORM (1) was yet again about the mark last time out when runner-up over 1800m at Kapunda, beaten 3 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw. Stepping up a level this time but she is capable of another big performance. UPTOWN MISS (6) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 4.5 metres at this track over 1800m. Top-three aspirations. PLATINUM DANCER (5) finished sixth two runs ago then broke and finished a long last over 1800m at this venue at the latest appearance. Facing a tougher assignment but a big run is possible if her Mitch Manners improve.
