GOLDEN GARDEN (4) is a dashing up-and-coming fencer who strikes a golden opportunity to continue on his winning ways. He's the only horse in the race with any winning form this preparation with all other rivals either struggling to recapture their best or still spotting him weight. NOT USUAL DREAM (5) improved last start when he finished sixth in The Australian Steeplechase (3900m) at Sandown-Lakeside. In the mix here. MIGHTY SPAR (1) didn't have a great Warrnambool Carnival and that might have caught up with him last start. The fact he's here suggests he's obviously bounced out of that OK and he's again got a lot of weight, but that's because he's the best-performed horse in the race.
