Has to contend with a very wide draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. SOUTHERN HANOVER (5) drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 12 metres into eighth at Mohawk Park over 1609m. Meets some better types this time but from a far better starting position a win is not out of the question. MAXMAN (2) should be at his peak for this. Finished second over 1609m at this track at the latest appearance three weeks ago. Sure to give the top fancies plenty to think about. OREL BULLDOG (4) is a two-year-old colt by Walner from Alloveragain on debut. Capable of taking this out.
