ROMEO EMPIRE (2) jumped from this same draw and was close to the lead throughout before boxing on well and holding a 4 length second (40.56) at Great Yarmouth over 659m in a OR3. Worth following up. DEREKS LEGEND (4) won again in another strong performance after running them ragged making it three straight, scoring by 8 lengths (40.29) at this track over 664m. Winner at his latest appearance in the quickest time on the card. Can measure up again. ARI UP (1) filled a minor placing last start at Sheffield behind Grouchos Hawk (39.49) in a IV. Has the early speed to land on the pace and can stick on. The form from her last run stacks up well. Hard to beat again. EARLS RUBY (5) cannot be left out after placing last start.

Handy type with a solid strike-rate. Winner two back then well fancied last time and could manage only second over 659m at Great Yarmouth in 40.56. Fought on last time. Right in the mix again.
