Western Fair Raceway Race 9

Race 9

Prize Money: $7,085

DOCS ROCK (9) filled a minor placing at Flamboro Downs two runs ago before finishing seventh at his latest appearance over 1609m at Flamboro Downs, beaten 20 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Won't find this any harder and he can give this a mighty shake. SMOKESTACK (4) was successful at his most recent outing by 4 metres in a nice return to form at Hiawatha over 1609m. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another big race. OUTLAWGRANDETORINO (3) is better than his last-start seventh over 1609m at Flamboro Downs. ABOVEMYPAYGRADE (5) is the next elect off a last-start win by 2.25 metres at Flamboro Downs over 1609m.

Failed to impress last start; 7th over 1609m at Flamboro Downs, at the bell was 8th- beaten 6 m by Flying Art (1:57.00) in G on September 24 at $26.30. Showed ability the race before when he won by 2.25 m as favourite at Hanover Raceway (1:58.20) beating Flying Art in G on September 12 at $1.45 at the bell was leading.
