Central Park Bags Race 8

Race 8

Prize Money: $924

SWERVETHEISSUE (1) wasn't far away at the finish when 4th and beaten only 2.5 lengths (30.25) at this track. Has a good record here at this journey. Has ability and is a key runner. KING COBAIN (2) failed to come into contention last start at this track, but prior to that won comfortably by 9 lengths at this track (30.08) beating Lemon Maxine in an A5 on September 22. Should be in this for a long way. BUCKS QUEEN (4) was a course and distance placegetter (30.07) last time also from the same draw, finishing a half a length second in an A3. Can measure up. WHOOPWHOOP MOLLY (3) in the money here last time and looks a top-three prospect again.

Comments

Hit the ground running with a sizzling early sectional but gathered in late to finish a 2.5 lengths fourth (30.25) at this track. Has been around the mark at his last couple and should make his presence felt.

Had won two on end but missed the hat-trick last start when fifth and beaten 5 lengths (30.46) in an A3 over 491m at this track. Forgive the latest result. Looks hard to beat this time.

Racing well of late. In the money two starts back at this track then finished third at her latest appearance in an A3 at this track over 491m (30.36). In solid form and can win without surprising.

Didn't fire two runs back then progressed nicely last time to be beaten just half a length into second over 491m at this track. Cannot be overlooked based on that sound recent effort.

Moderate effort last start when she finished 4th in a D2 on September 22 over 277m at this track behind Aphantasia beaten 1.4 lengths (17.09). Doesn't look smart enough to threaten the top few.
