Hobart Race 5

Renee Vanson Elders Hobart St. Leger F Division1

Prize Money: $10,675

HELMSLEY (8) shapes well for this after winning last start over 461m at this track in a dazzling 25.56. Hot win latest and looks the one to beat again. KING HASS (6) has a terrific record this track and trip with four wins and three placings from seven starts. Recorded a 6 length win (25.58) in a Special conditions race last time at this track. With even luck and a clean start should be thereabouts. CRAZY SMART (2) could manage only third but ran quick time (26.02) at this track over 461m. In form and must include in calculations.

Racing well without winning, recording four minors on end, the latest hitting the ground running with a scorching early sectional but finishing in the minors again at this track, clocking 26.02. Looks a strong winning hope.

Missed the frame latest (26.24) when fourth over 461m at this track in a Special conditions race. Yet to win but has placed two times from this draw. Looks a place chance at best.
