Keeneland Race 8

Mdn Special Weight

Prize Money: $158,046

CANDY ILLUSION (5) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1308m at Kentucky (Turf) when second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has plenty of upside so a big run is anticipated. PEARL LAKE (1) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths over 1308m at Kentucky (Turf). Has upside and can open her account. JOY OF LIFE (8) was lining up for just the second time last start when fourth over 1408m at Saratoga, beaten 8 lengths. Backmarker who keeps coming. Debut run was encouraging so she is worth another chance. IT'S THE LAW (9) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Peter Eurton. By Tiz The Law from Kathy's Clown. Watch the market closely.
