Newcastle Bags Race 6

@Newcastledogs On Twitter Stakes

Prize Money: $924

A BIT OF MEGAN (6) has been hot and cold of late in handicaps. In the money two back off scratch at this track then finished sixth at her latest appearance when jumped from scratch at this track over 480m (29.48). Tackles another handicap and will start off scratch. The one to beat. COOLEMOUNT CREST (5) makes her debut in a handicap and will break off 4m. Returned with a moderate fourth, beaten 5 lengths, (29.45) at this track over 480m. Shapes as one of the chances. ALNWICK TEENY (2) turned spotting a big start finishing sixth (30.37) last time in an A8 at this track. Comes through a solid form race last start. Cannot be taken lightly. SLINGSHOT LOMOND (4) gets a chance to improve on an unplaced run at his latest outing at this circuit.

Could only manage fifth last time out over 480m at this track, adding to some plain results of late. This looks too tough.
