PEGASUS YEOWANG (1) sets the standard after a sharp debut third over 1000m at this track, beaten just under a length by Musket Storm while near the top of an open market. The move to 1200m is new, but she has already shown race-day professionalism and gets a class drop with Jung Do Yun back aboard. DAESEONG SKY (2) also placed on debut at this venue, grinding into second over 1200m after starting an outside chance, and the class drop plus Seo Seung Un gives him a clear winning case. B.K BIG AIR (5) was only fifth on debut over 1000m and beaten over 11 lengths, though big odds and extra race experience leave scope to close the gap. SEOGWI BRAVO (3) was well held first time out, beaten over 19 lengths, so he is relying on natural improvement and the easier setup to become a lesser winning hope.

Returns from a two-month break after a promising debut third over 1000m at this track, beaten just under a length by Musket Storm after being pipped late. She was near the top of an open market and should take benefit from that first race experience. From barrier one she can hold a handy spot without doing early work. The new 1200m trip asks a fair question, but the class drop and Jung Do Yun back aboard give her the right profile to break through.

Returns from a five-week freshening after debuting with a second over 1200m at this track, beaten ten lengths by Victory Champ but still good enough to beat the rest. He was an outside chance in the betting and kept grinding after travelling well to the turn. With a class drop and Seo Seung Un back aboard, the exposed 1200m form gives him a strong platform to challenge for the win.

Was safely held on debut over 1200m at this track, finishing sixth and beaten over 19 lengths by Sunny Wild after settling just off the lead and making no impression. He was at long odds, so the market gave little lead, and there was no clear excuse in the run. The class drop gives him some help second-up, but sharp improvement is required for him to turn the profile into a placing.

Returns from a five-week freshening after being well beaten by 24 lengths on debut over 1200m at this track, when unwanted in the market and unable to make any late impression. She has the benefit of race experience and finds a softer assignment through the class drop, but the first run leaves her with a sizeable gap to close. A much sharper finish is required to trouble the main chances.

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing fifth on debut over 1000m at this track, beaten over 11 lengths by Powerful Warrior after being asked to make ground from too far back. He was sent out at big odds, so the run carried limited market confidence. The class drop helps, but 1200m is new and he shapes more as a place hope than a winning anchor.

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing last on debut over 1000m at this track, beaten a long way by Powerful Warrior after settling well back and making no impression. He was at generous odds and now tackles 1200m for the first time. The class drop is a small positive, but he has to find far more before being considered a serious threat.

Comments

Makes her debut with blinkers applied and comes from the Baik Kwang Yeol stable, which sits high among the local training ranks. That gives her some interest on profile, but there is no race form to lean on and her trainer's debut figures are modest. She may improve with experience, so this looks a tough starting point unless the gear change brings immediate focus.

Starts her career from a wider draw with a family that includes Baekdu Ilseong, a 1200m debut winner at Seoul, and Sling Stone, a multiple Seoul winner. That pedigree gives some encouragement for later, but there is no race evidence yet and the stable's debut record is only modest. She is likely to be better judged once exposed under race conditions.

Debuts for Thomas Gillespie with Francisco Da Silva booked, and there is some pedigree appeal through Tiger Mangchi, a full sibling who won on debut over 1200m at Seoul. The trainer-sire combination has produced winners, which is a positive profile note, but without race experience she still has to prove she can bring that background to this venue.
