Plainridge Racecourse Race 9

1609m

Prize Money: $17,241

COVER THE CROWN (4) was out of the money two runs back at this track then improved sharply last start to score by 9 metres over 1609m at the same circuit. Meets a comparable field and she can salute once again. LADYSASSIN (2) won at this track two runs ago but couldn't repeat the dose at her latest appearance over 1609m at this track, beaten 4 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw. Primary contender if she is at her best. WOLVERINA (5) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid fourth at this track over 1609m. Hard to find fault. WINDYDAYATTHEBEACH (6) is worth some thought after her last-start fourth over 1609m at this track on October 2.
