JUST JANE (4) Romped home to win last run at this venue and showing consistent performance in races. Made it 2 wins on the bounce but facing a stronger group of contenders. Could pose a threat and expected to go very close. MARK'S WALTZ (9) Showed a clean pair of heels when winning by a head last start at the track and was a debutant last start. Has the speed to overcome the wide draw. Genuine winning chance. LETSDOTHETWIST (11) Just missed last start at the track and challenged by less formidable competitors. Been in the money 3 from 3 attempts this preparation and good career start. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. NEVER SURRENDER (2) Improved to place when 3rd last start here and honest performer putting a tidy record together. Has run into the money 3 from 3 attempts this preparation. This field suits.

Passed some rivals in the late stages when 4th last time at this venue and competing in a lower grade. Likely to get back in the run. Prefer in an easier race.
