Thistledown Race 7

Greg Veit Scarlet And Gray S. Stakes

SILENT RULE (2) finished second when resuming two runs back at Mountaineer Park (Dirt) then progressed nicely last time out to score by 0.8 lengths as public elect over 1207m at Listed level at this track (Dirt). B Tapara scored on her last time and retains the ride. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CITY SCENE (3) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 1207m in Listed grade at this track (Dirt), beaten 0.8 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. SILVER KISS (4) finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in second last start over 1811m in Listed grade at this track (Dirt). Excellent record here having never missed the placings in five starts, including four wins and one placing. One of the leading contenders. COUNTRY PROMISES (1) was safely held when fifth last time out over 1207m at this track, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
