Geelong Race 7

Evolution Lodge Mcnamara Memorial Trotting Cup

Prize Money: $20,000

ROCKINWITHATTITUDE (7) was just too classy in her resuming win at Melton, leading to score by close to 9m. Starts from a 30m handicap but strikes at 50 per cent when second-up and owns a strong record at this venue. Terrific mare who is the one to beat. IMPERIAL MONARCH NZ (6) made an encouraging return when runner-up at Melton last week, continuing a string of placings from last campaign. Won over this distance the only time he raced here. Fitter so looks a threat. MEADOW VALLEY STAR (5) had some decent form last time in. Hasn't raced since April but is a two-time fresh winner and was readied with a trial. ANTONOV NZ (2) jumps in grade but deserves respect having won his last two outings from standing starts.

Carried through his consistent form from last preparation when first-up last start. Returned to racing with a game effort when 2nd (Fr2) over 1720m after showing early speed at Melton, at the bell was leading 3.06 beaten 3 m by Hoppy (2:03.70) on September 26 at $4.60. Sure to improve on that first up effort. Fitter and could be a danger.
