SIXTEEN CIGARETTES (3) finds it hard to win with two victories from 32 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 1673m at this track, beaten 19 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. LIGHTNING CHARLIE (1) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 1207m at this track, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner. Profiles nicely. GOLDEN CANDY (6) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a third over 1207m at this track (Synthetic) when beaten 0.2 lengths. Distance specialist with six wins and 16 minor placings from 33 runs and is expected to run well. BOUDIN (2) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Scored over 1207m at Mountaineer Park to launch the last campaign. Among the better hopes.

Form hard to fault. Most recently ran second last in a small field at this track on September 23 over 1207m, 2.5 len behind King Miano with 56kg at $4.80. The start before that sat on the speed and boxed on steadily 3rd of 7 at this track on September 1 over 1673m, 6 len behind Secretary Of War carrying 56kg at $11.90. Showed enough last start to suggest he can take this out.

Expected Settling Position: Midfield
