Western Fair Raceway Race 12

Race 12

Prize Money: $11,640

WINCHESTER PHOENIX (3) won at Hippodrome 3R two runs ago but couldn't repeat the dose at his latest appearance over 1609m at Hippodrome 3R, beaten 4 metres. No excuses from this advantageous draw. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of a return to winning ways. LOGAN BEHOLD (7) turned in a strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1609m at Flamboro Downs. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Meets a comparable field and he can figure in the finish. AZUCAR JACK (2) is the next elect off a last-start win by one metre at Hiawatha over 1609m. JJ XAVIER (5) is the best of the rest after finishing third over 1609m at Kawartha Downs last time out.
