Laurel Park Race 4

Smart Halo S. Stakes

Prize Money: $143,678

HARPER'S CORNER (4) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out over 1408m in the G1 Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga (Dirt). Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. MARTINIWITHATWIST (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1207m in Listed grade at Delaware Park (Dirt), getting home by 0.3 lengths. Winning rider Yedsit Hazlewood retains the mount. This doesn't look as hard so she is likely to play a big role. WHITTEN WAY (3) finished 3 lengths back in fourth in stakes company last time over 1207m in stakes class at Delaware Park (Dirt). Did win two runs back by a nose at Listed level at Delaware Park (Dirt). Emanuel Rosario who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Has claims on her best figures. TALKING FOOLISH (8) is a last-start winner five weeks ago, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 1106m at Colonial Downs. Expected to feature.
