Sandown Park Race 7

Prize Money: $3,875

SPIRALLING (1) was a strong course and distance winner last time, claiming a Grade 5 in a powerful 29.69 and a new PB here. In form and looks the one to beat again. NEO DEVERE (2) has a fair record and proved too classy last time to win by 2.5 lengths at The Meadows in a handy 30.28 beating Paw Cornelius. Yet to win out of this box but has been in the placings two times from three starts. Looks a key chance if runs up to latest figure. MEPUNGA RULE (8) goes very well at the course and distance with two wins and a placing from six starts. Below best last time at The Meadows (35.29) in a Grade 4/5, finishing a 14 length eighth. Can feature with the right run. SUPER FREAKY (3) has strong credentials at this circuit over this journey.

Strong performance after tracking the speed to win by a neck at this track over 515m (29.69) beating Milly Lily in Grade 5 on October 15. Makes plenty of appeal. Go close again.

Won two starts back at Warragul over 460m in 25.85. Followed that up with a minor placing over 460m at Warragul at Grade 5 FIN six days ago. Solid formlines coming through that last run. Will be thereabouts.
