Romford Race 9

Lyndsey Norville 30th Birthday Stakes

Prize Money: $771

UNDERGROUND JESS (3) was safely held last time out, finishing sixth at Romford over 575m behind Toems Bono (36.22) in a S4. Was in the money prior to that. Can make amends. STORMTROOPER (4) hit the ground running last time with a hot early split and never headed, leading throughout to win by half a length (24.74) over 400m at Romford. Capable of going well again. HIGHWAY BULLET (6) is better than last start when sixth (14.43) in a OR at Romford over 225m. Form from her last run is proving to be solid. Should be in this for a long way. DINNER SPIROS (2) is a last-start placegetter who should be thereabouts.

Comments

Big odds last time but gave a huge sight after a scorching early split, weakening late to finish a 6 length fourth (24.63) over 400m at Romford. Other runners look much more appealing.

Racing well of late. In the money two starts back at Romford then finished third at his latest appearance in an A7 at Romford over 400m (24.90). Decent recent form so demands respect.
