Star Pelaw Race 12

435mtrs (Or)

Prize Money: $1,143

CLONLOST DEXTER (6) was out of in the placings when fourth last time but three runs back clocked a convincing 25.50 win over 435m at this track. Has the ability and looks a key chance again. POTHOLE BOB (3) has a strong record this trip with 11 wins and 10 placings from 27 starts. In the money last time at this track (26.08) in a OR3, finishing a 6 length third. Looks well placed here and among the chances. DROOPYS ORATOR (4) showed good early burn and was there until turning but swamped late to finish 6th at this track in a OR1. Shapes as one to consider. PRESSURE TIE (5) should be thereabouts after filling a top-three spot in a fast run most recently.

Finished fourth two starts ago then regained form last time out when he found a couple better over 435m in an A1 at this track. Cannot enthuse despite that better recent effort.

Winner two starts back at Sunderland over 450m in 27.44. Last start hit the frame over 450m at Sunderland in OR3. This looks too tough.

Handy type with a solid strike-rate. Winner two back then well fancied last time and could manage only third over 435m at this track in 26.08. Ran one of the fastest times on the program last start despite finishing in the minors.
