Central Park Bags Race 3

Jenningsbet Standard Trophy Division 2

Prize Money: $1,429

PUNTOS OPINION (1) has missed the frame at last two runs but could not have been more impressive a few back in his scintillating 23.83 win at Romford over 400m. Has the ability and expected to go close again. EVER SO CHEERIO (3) was responsible for a modest effort most recently when sixth at this track over 491m behind Underground Gold (29.46) in a OR1. In the mix. DISTANT ROVER (2) boasts a strong record this journey with six wins and three minors from 18 tries. Missed the frame latest (24.57) when fourth over 400m at Romford in an A1. Looks a key chance on best figures. INSANE GEE TWO (4) missed the placings here most recently but can sneak into the finish with the right run.

Comments

Hit the ground running with a sizzling early sectional but gathered in late to finish a 4 length fifth (24.51) at Romford. Looks well placed and should prove hard to beat.

Charged out of the boxes with a sizzling early sectional but swamped late when a close up fourth (24.57) at Romford over 400m. Expect improvement on the latest effort. Great chance to atone.

Could only manage fifth last time out over 491m at this track, adding to some plain results of late. Can't enthuse on this occasion.
