Ballarat Race 11

Prize Money: $2,925

PAW PALMER (1) goes very well this trip starting 30 times for 10 wins and 12 minors. Hit the frame latest (22.47) when third at Geelong in a Grade 4. Looks suited here and rates on top. LOCHINVAR THOR (8) is a capable type and proved too classy last time to win by 0.9 lengths at Geelong in a handy 22.49 beating Where's Nassif. The form out of his last race has been franked. Deserves serious consideration again. ODDLY COOL (3) turned in a better effort at Sandown last start, finishing third behind Lektra Beta (30.05) in a Grade 4/5. Has the pace to be prominent. Comes out of a solid form race last start. Hard to beat again. WHITE NILE (2) can sneak into the finish with the right run.

Struggling to break through but racing consistently, finishing in the minors four starts on end. Last time out flew the lids with a fast early sectional but gathered in and finished in the minors when third (22.47) at Geelong over 400m. Rates highly on best form. Expected to feature.
