Mount Gambier Race 11

Quickmix Concrete Group (N/P) Stake Pr2 Division4

Prize Money: $1,005

MASHED POTATO (1) used the rails draw to advantage to get home last time at this track and distance (17.60) after charging straight to the lead, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Draws the rails again and looks the one to beat. BOURNE MUNCHKIN (8) is progressing well claiming her 2nd career win latest, scoring by 3.5 lengths (17.67) at this track. Has hit winning form and can measure up again. JIMMY THE RAT (4) has a terrific record this track and trip with two wins and three placings from five starts. Missed the frame latest (30.54) when eighth over 512m at this track in a Grade 3/4/5. Can feature in the finish. SAINT FRANKLIN (2) deserves plenty of thought over this distance.

Missed the frame last time but was in the minors two on end prior to that, the most recent when second (17.51) over 305m at this track. Has a low draw but needs to bounce back.

Did a good job two starts back at this track to win by 0.8 lengths in 30.26, beating Miss Chapo. Last start finished last on September 20 over 512m at this track behind Moonlight Nellie beaten 11 lengths (30.54) in a Grade 3/4/5. Capable of much better. Worth keeping safe.
