Consistent at the trip with a strong 2200m record (4:1-3-0) and returns off 28 days after a runner-up at Istanbul over 2100m on soft. Drawn barrier 5 again and reunites with Özcan Yildirim, who was aboard for that latest 2nd to Steel Rock. Profiles as a reliable stayer suited to today’s set-up.

Fourth-up and drawn well in barrier 3, he comes off a narrow 2nd at Istanbul over 2100m (TB) on 11 Oct, carrying 57.5kg and splitting Ormello and the rest. Istanbul record (13:1-4-1) is solid, and he stays around this trip with only a slight distance shift. Genuine chance to hold form at this track.

Won two back at Istanbul over 1600m (TB) carrying 63kg, then was 6th of 9 over 2100m here 12 days ago. Steps to 2200m where he’s placed once from two tries, and draws barrier 4 with the same rider-jockey combination successful once from five. Capable if he reproduces his September peak and sees out the trip.

On a short turnaround and draws barrier 1 after working home into 4th at Ankara over 2400m (3Y HCP) eight days ago. Drops 200m here and has a win and two minors from six starts when drawn between barriers 1-3, suggesting the gate suits. Mixed recent results at Ankara and Istanbul, but the inside draw and suitable setup give him a chance to hold a position and improve.

Comments

Fourth-up and rising sharply in trip with an 800m distance change, he returns to a journey where his 2200m record stands at 1:1-0-0. Recent runs have been plain at Istanbul and Bursa over 1400m–2000m, but a better barrier (6) than last start and stepping back to a proven trip could help. A lift is needed, yet today’s setup offers a more suitable platform.

Draws barrier 2 and returns to 2200m, a trip where he has a placing on the board (4:0-1-0), after a 1500m run nine days ago. Istanbul has been testing for him overall (15:0-1-1), but he has placed with this jockey and maps to get a softer run from the draw. A measured chance to improve back up in distance.

Closed out September with a solid 3rd at Istanbul over 2100m (TB) on soft, carrying 57kg behind Steel Rock and Blackfyre. Since then was 6th of 19 at Bursa over 2000m (3Y COND 19) with 60kg, and now drops 200m from that run. Consistent city efforts at Istanbul suggest he’s capable of holding his form at this trip.
