Race 12

Prize Money: $13,158

BET THE BB (1) was responsible for a good effort at his latest run to get home by a narrow margin over 1609m at Flamboro Downs on October 22. Has the benefit of a good draw. Won't find this any harder and he can salute once again. INSTANTANEOUS (3) finished fifth last start, beaten 7 metres at Flamboro Downs over 1609m. Has ability and should be right in the finish. IDEAL PERCEPTION (5) is worth another chance after a last-start ninth over 1609m at Flamboro Downs a week-and-a-half ago. THIRTY SIX RED (7) must be respected after scoring last start by 2.5 metres at this track over 1609m.

Five-year-old gelding is racing in fine form. Won his last two outings at Flamboro Downs and this track both over 1609m. Last start won by a neck at Flamboro Downs (1:54.10) beating P L Oliver in G on October 22 at $3.35 at the bell was leading. Recent form hard to fault.

Failed to impress last start; 6th over 1609m at this track was 6th- at the bell, beaten 8 m by Thirty Six Red (1:54.40) in G on October 20 at $43.95. Showed ability the run before when he won by a 0.5 m as favourite at this track (1:56.40) beating Wild Doc Holliday in G on October 5 at $1.60 at the bell was leading. Solid top-three contender.

Capable of better than we have seen lately. Last start 5th over 1609m at Flamboro Downs was 6th- at the bell, beaten 7 m by Artie's Ideal (1:53.10) in G on October 15 at $19.70. The run previous 8th over 1609m at Mohawk Park, at the bell was 7th- beaten 3.5 m by Waterloo (1:50.10) in HCP on October 2 at $15.15. No surprise to see him bounce back to form.
