GHOST COMMANDER (3) maps as the one to beat from barrier 1 after a last‑start Istanbul 2100m win on 30 Sep and carries 54kg with a favourable inside-gate record. LOOK NEWS (4) is on a 5‑day backup and has strong Istanbul stats (5 wins at the track), including a 1500m win here on 23 Sep. STASERA (6) drops 7.5kg from her last run and was a close 3rd at Kocaeli 1900m on 8 Sep; well treated at 53.5kg. LION OF HONOUR (2) is on a 7‑day turnaround and was 2nd at Kocaeli 2000m on 6 Oct; now up sharply in trip but brings solid recent mileage.

Comments

On a short turnaround after a 6th of 7 at Bursa over 2000m in a 3UP G3 (60kg, soft), having run 2nd at Kocaeli over 2000m two starts back behind Sword Master. Steps up sharply in trip (distance change +800m) and carries 60.5kg, but the current jockey has a solid record aboard (5:1-1). Honest enough of late and capable of running well if he stays the new trip.

Comments

Arrives in strong form this season (3:2-0-1), including a last-start Istanbul 2100m win from barrier 1 with 58kg. Drops to 54kg and draws barrier 1 again, with a positive jockey association (2:1-0-1); the sharp 700m drop in trip is the query but his consistency on Good ground (12:4-4-1) underpins his claims.

Back on a short turnaround after finishing 6th over 1500m at Istanbul on soft, having won a 1500m 3UP CLAIM 2 at the same track two starts prior. Istanbul record is solid (26:5-2-3) and overall good-ground stats read well (30:6-2-3). With 57kg and barrier 6, the profile is consistent enough to be competitive.

Returns to Istanbul with solid local stats (10:2-1-2) and draws well in barrier 3, carrying a light 52kg. Won two back at Kocaeli over 1900m, then struggled from a wide gate over 2000m last time. Big drop in weight and a better barrier give him a chance to rebound.

Comments

Drops 7.5kg to 53.5kg after finishing 8th over 2200m at Istanbul 12 days ago in a 3UP F&M HCP 17, and draws barrier 5 after jumping from 6 there. Earlier this prep included a 3rd at Kocaeli over 1900m on GOOD, and the current rider has a solid (6:2-0-0) record aboard. Genuine weight relief and a softer gate give her a chance to lift.

On a short turnaround and drops 7kg to 52kg from a soft draw in barrier 4, which suits his profile. Recent form includes a 2nd over 1800m at Kocaeli in a 3UP HCP (GOOD) and a 3rd over 1500m, while his rider has 2 placings from 3 rides with him. Measured chance to hold a handy spot and run well at today’s setup.
