Flamboro Downs Race 8

Race 8

Prize Money: $6,478

CUSTARD CRUNCH (2) drew a wide gate last start and was safely held, beaten 10 metres into eighth at this track over 1609m. Meets a comparable field and from a far better starting position he can play a major role. BIG BAD JACKSON (8) scored at this track three runs ago. Returned to something like that form last time out when second over 1609m at this track, beaten 2.25 metres. Must overcome a very wide draw. Big chance if anywhere near his best. THUMANN (5) disappointed last time when ninth over 1609m at this track. Can make amends. FULL CREDIT (7) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 1609m at this track last time out.

Failed to impress last start; 8th over 1609m at this track, at the bell was 8th- beaten 10 m by Jimmysonaroll (1:55.00) in G on October 22 at $5.75. Showed ability the run before when he won by 2.25 m as favourite at this track (1:55.10) beating Big Bad Jackson in G on October 8 at $1.90 at the bell was leading. Definite winning chance.
