DONTBRINGMEDOWN (4) Came in 2nd last start around here and matched against less formidable competition. In good shape since coming back from a break. Should be swooping on the field late. Better hope. RIVER ROCK FIRE (1) Ran out of steam towards the end when 2nd last start at the track and facing a weaker group of contenders. Will appreciate a good alley. No surprise to see a forward showing and one of the main hopes in this race. ROUGH CUSTOMER (5) Displayed a good turn of foot when winning last start at Lethbridge but racing in stronger company. Will be hitting the line strongly. Looking sharp on the track this preparation. Must respect. CAIRO COWBOY (3) Didn't threaten when 4th last time around here. Is capable of a resurgence and up against a less competitive field. Back in trip. Solid place bet prospects.

Grabbed towards the finish when 2nd beaten by 1 1/2L last start at this venue and up against a less challenging field. Should muster plenty of early speed. Gets a solid chance here.

On a short back up. Caught the eye when 3rd beaten by just short of 9L last run at the track and drops back to a suitable class. Won't find this easy.
