Goulburn Race 7

Ladbrokes Goulburn Cup Heat 4 H

Prize Money: $4,150

LAYTON MAGIC (3) has a fair record and proved too strong last time to win by 2 lengths at this track in a handy 19.55 beating Where's Fernando. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. In sparkling form and looks the one to beat again. BIG FROST (1) is progressing well and looks close to another win after hitting the frame last run (35.25) at Gosford. Has a good record here at this journey. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Hard to beat again. ASCEND FERN (2) is worth forgiving last start after finishing fourth (29.76) at Wentworth Park over 520m. In the mix. GROUND CONTROL (7) is building a solid run wins and will play a big role again.

Did a good job two starts back at Temora to win by 5 lengths in 25.57, beating Our Chance. Last start finished 5th on October 16 over 440m at this track behind Magic Mania beaten 8 lengths (25.07) in a Grade 5. Can't recommend against this lot.

Comments

Strong performance showing plenty of speed to score by 5.5 lengths in a Grade 4/5 last start at Nowra, recording an exceptional 29.45 over the 520m journey. Should be in this for a long way.
