Laurel Park Race 9

Maryland Million Nursery S. Stakes

Prize Money: $143,678

WALT'S NOTION (9) went fast early over 1207m at Listed level at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to score by 1.3 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. FUTILE GESTURE (4) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 3 lengths, over 1106m at Laurel Turf (Turf). Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. UNCLE K O (1) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1106m at Delaware Park (Dirt). Expected to feature with improvement to come.
