LATE NIGHT TEXT (3) was safely held when resuming from a spell behind Slewperstitus at Listed level at Laurel (Dirt) over 1207m, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Fitter and the blinkers going on adds to the appeal. M BS MELANIE CARES (4) looks to kick off this prep the way she ended the last 11 weeks ago when she scored over 1308m at Saratoga. Profiles nicely. AMOR ALA MEXICANA (1) recorded a strong maiden win over 1207m at this track (Dirt) last time, getting there by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. HAUNTING ECHOES (2) had a bit on her rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 2.25 lengths maiden win over 1207m at Penn National (Dirt). Andrew Wolfsont was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
