Has placed in both career starts at this track and looks ready to convert after being beaten a head by Perak Star last start on good ground. He was also second on debut behind Navarre Crown, beaten two and a half lengths after again being near the top of betting. The beaten-favourite tag is a small reservation, but he is third-up, race fit and brings the most dependable 1200m form in the race.

Drops out of Class 4 after finishing last of 11 at this track, beaten six and a half lengths by Pacific Master. That run was below his prior fourth here when beaten just over three lengths by Strategise, and he does have one placing from four attempts at this track and distance. The distance record is not compelling, but the easier grade and strong stable-rider profile give him a genuine chance to bounce back.

Expected Settling Position: Off Midfield

Has been well held in both starts, most recently ninth in a NOV at this track when unwanted in the market and well beaten by 22 lengths. His debut seventh in a CRM was also at long odds and beaten eight and a half lengths. The class drop and third-up fitness are positives in theory, but he will have to lift sharply on exposed race form.

Gets a kinder set-up with a class drop, weight relief and an apprentice claim after two heavy defeats at this track. He was eighth in a Class 5 over 1020m last start, beaten over 11 lengths, after being last the run prior in a CRM. The concern is that he remains unplaced from three starts and has no placing from two tries around 1200m, so he profiles as a place hope only if the set-up sparks improvement.

Debuts for S Dunderdale, whose supplied first-starter record is sound with 3 wins and 6 placings from 12 starters. The family offers some substance through Always Enuff, a six-time winner, and Miss Farnan, who won on debut over 1000m at Canberra. That gives him more background appeal than several newcomers, though race-day evidence is still required before taking a strong view.

Makes his debut with a light exposed profile around him. The supplied trainer-debut record shows one starter for no wins or placings, and there are no sibling performance pointers in the data to lean on. Barrier 3 is at least a practical draw for a first starter, but he will have to show more on race day than the paper profile currently offers.

Starts his career from barrier 8 with limited positive evidence in the supplied profile. The two listed half-siblings, Slippery Rich and Mission Strike, are both winless, while their debut records do not point to a strong early pattern. He may improve with racing, but this looks a demanding assignment against runners who already have stronger race form.

Was sent out favourite on debut at this track and finished fourth, beaten two and a half lengths behind Perak Star. That same form line leaves him with a small gap to close on Loyalty Banker's, but he should be better for the race experience and draws barrier 1 for his second start. A $22,000 weanling purchase, he has enough upside to rate as one of the main threats.

Debuts with a mixed but serviceable family background, including half-siblings Jenadar and Ejay's Firefox, both winners from their racing careers. The supplied trainer-debut record is 0 wins and 1 placing from 5 starters, which keeps the assessment measured. He has some pedigree depth for later on, but this opening test looks a tough one.

Begins from barrier 10 and the supplied debut indicators are fairly quiet. Full sibling Stellenbosch is winless from four starts, half-sibling Daluma Dragon Girl is also winless, and the trainer-debut record shows no wins from six starters. He is entitled to develop with racing, but the wide draw and limited profile make this a difficult starting point.
