Hove Bags Race 12

Coral Finals Afternoon 500 Mdns

Prize Money: $1,514

CROYDON TREATY (2) jumped from the inside and boxed on well to finish second last time, beaten a neck (29.45) behind Are We On at this track. Must come into calculations. SALSA RAGNAR (3) proved too good on debut over 285m at this track to score by half a length (16.69). Should be in this for a long way. BALLYMAC CHIPZ (4) showed ability on debut filling a minor placing when second (30.22) at this track over 500m. This looks easier and expected to improve further. WESTWOOD TED (5) has definite claims at his first try at this circuit.

Comments

Finished second last start over 500m at this track behind Are We On in a OR. Has the early speed to land on the pace and can stick on. Boasts a course and distance PB in a dazzling 29.21. Top chance.

Comments

To win on debut won by half a length at this track (16.69) beating Cloheena Boyce in a D1 on October 28. Will find this much tougher but he should put himself in the race early. Looks to be back in fine fettle. Makes plenty of appeal.

Turned in a nice debut but found one better (30.22) at this track over 500m. Improver who can feature again.

Good win last start as odds-on favourite by 8 lengths over 480m at Lifford in a handy 28.56, beating Broc Two Boyos. Capable of a good showing.
