Sandown Park Race 4

Catanach's Jewellers Laurels Classic Ht1

Prize Money: $9,055

SPRING VICTORIA (8) is a progressive type who recorded her 6th career win last time out (29.32) at this track. Winner at her latest appearance in one of the quickest times on the card. Hard to go past. MEPUNGA WILLOW (7) finished in the minors last start over the 460m at Geelong but ran a slick 25.79 last start. Expected to feature again. DEWANA HALF TAIL (1) missed the frame last time when fourth (25.92) at Geelong but prior to that had two placings in a row. Has a good record at this journey. One of the better hopes. GAMORA BALE (2) was in the money last time at Geelong (25.81) in a SE, finishing a 2.75 lengths third. Yet to taste defeat in two runs from this draw.

Won two starts back after racing on the pace at The Meadows over 525m in 29.92. Couldn't repeat the feat last time out when fifth over 525m at The Meadows at Special conditions G3 level. Strong form emerging from the last run. Looks one of the chances.
