Mandurah Race 7

Prime Trophies

HURRY UP ERIC (8) is generally an honest type in the frame at 11 of 31 starts but missed the placings last time when fourth (30.09) over 520m at Cannington. Strike rate this course strong having won five of nine tries. Drawn wide but with a clean break will be tough to beat again. TARAWI LOCK (4) boasts strong form at this course and distance having won three times from four starts. Scored by a nose last time (27.24) in a Free For All over 488m at this track. With even luck and a clean start should be thereabouts. ICONIC JET (7) ran a slick 29.92 when placed over 520m at Cannington last start in a OPEN. Fast run latest and rates a key player again. JAFFA'S MONELLI (2) missed the placings here most recently but can sneak into the finish with the right run.

Needs to do more than recent efforts, the latest a seventh over 520m at Cannington. Not up to this.

Won two starts back when well in the market at Cannington over 520m. Last start finished 4th over 520m at Cannington beaten 7 lengths (30.09) behind Sunset Caligula in a OPEN on October 24. Some good form is emerging from that last run. Expected to prove hard to beat.
