Sandown Park Race 7

Happy Birthday Rene Laverdure

Prize Money: $8,785

STEAL THE STAGE (1) was strongly supported last start when a short priced favourite and duly saluted winning by 4.5 lengths at The Meadows in a handy 34.62. Nicely placed here on the inside and has a good record over this journey. Great chance again. POINT BREAK (2) has a strong record this track and trip with six wins and four placings from 17 starts. Below best last time at this track (30.10) in a Grade 5, finishing a 7 length fourth. With even luck and a clean start should be around the money. KEEP ROLLING (6) has missed the frame at his last two runs but could not have been more impressive the run prior in his convincing 25.67 win at Geelong over 460m. Must include on winning run three back. GENERAL FRANKY (7) has ability and can find the frame.

Got back last start and could only manage fourth but before that won by a neck at Sale (28.88) beating Wax Off in a Grade 4/5 on September 20. Doesn't look smart enough to threaten the top few.
