GETORIX PRINCESS (5) sets the standard after finishing third on debut at this track over 1400m, beaten a length and a half by First Bloom while near the top of an open market. The shorter 1250m is new territory, but she has the strongest exposed placing profile and should take good benefit from that first race experience. CYDONIA (10) is the immediate threat after going under by just under a length when fourth to Georgie Girl at this venue, and she has been rated strongly off that debut run despite starting at generous odds. A THOUSAND STARS (7) finished seventh on debut, but the margin was only four and a half lengths and the stable-jockey combination gives her scope to come forward sharply. EVELYN JOHNSON (3) debuts for the Justin Snaith yard, draws well, and comes from a family with winners, so she profiles as the best of the newcomers among the selected chances.

Comes on from a debut seventh at this track, where she was beaten seven and a half lengths by Georgie Girl in a FM MPLTE and started at long odds. The apprentice claim and class drop are helpful, but Cydonia had her measure in that same form line. With only one run behind her she can improve, though the evidence still points to a sizeable task against sharper exposed profiles.

Finished eighth on debut at this venue in the Georgie Girl race, beaten eight and a half lengths after starting at big odds. The stable has a strong overall profile, and she is only second-up, but there was no clear excuse supplied for that first run. A better showing is possible with experience, yet she will have to make a marked leap to trouble the main chances.

Makes her debut from the Justin Snaith stable with Juan Paul V'D Merwe booked, a notable combination at this venue. The pedigree gives encouragement, with Roland Garros a four-time winner and Desert Cloud also successful, while the draw is kind for a first starter. Race experience is the unknown, but she has enough background to be respected as a genuine placing prospect.

Returns from a two-month freshening after finishing seventh at this track over 1000m, beaten just under six lengths by Stealth in a MPLTE. Her earlier fifth at Kenilworth was also safely held, and she is yet to place from two starts. The class drop helps, but 1250m is new ground and she will have to find a stronger finish to make an impact.

Made a strong start when third on debut at this track over 1400m, beaten a length and a half by First Bloom in a FM MPLTE after sitting near the top of an open market. The 1250m trip is new, but she is a R3.3m yearling purchase with the best exposed placing form here. With Craig Zackey staying aboard, she brings the clearest winning profile and can go one better.

Was sixth on debut at this venue in the Georgie Girl race, beaten seven lengths after starting at big odds. The apprentice claim is a positive and the class drop offers some assistance, but Cydonia finished much closer in the same line and looks the stronger reference. She is open to natural improvement second-up, although a minor placing would be a more realistic aim.

Ran seventh on debut at this track, beaten four and a half lengths by Captain's Elect in a FM MPLTE, which was a more competitive effort than the finishing position alone suggests. The stable has strong representation and Richard Fourie takes the ride, while the profile also rates well on time and distance. With natural improvement, she has the substance to be right in the winning mix.

Starts her career without race evidence, so the assessment has to remain cautious. The family offers some encouragement, with Who Blinked, Soldier Boy and Eau De Vie among the winners, but the stable's supplied debut figures are modest. She may show something on debut, though against raced rivals with clearer claims she shapes as one who must prove herself first.

Race-fit runner who was sixth at this track over 1400m last start, beaten five and a half lengths by First Bloom, and that same race has Getorix Princess ahead of her. Two back she was well beaten at Kenilworth, so the winning edge is not obvious. Her one placing from two tries around 1250m keeps her in the place discussion rather than the top of the market.

Produced the key debut run behind Georgie Girl at this track, finishing fourth and beaten just under a length in a FM MPLTE after starting at generous odds. That gives her a strong platform second-up, and she is rated well on both recent form and this distance range. The wide barrier is the main practical issue, but her debut substance makes her a major winning chance.
