SLICK NITRO (8) has some solid form under her belt and proved too strong last time to win by 6 lengths at this track in a handy 41.92 beating Midnight Phantom. Ran one of the fastest times on the program in her latest win. Looks the one to beat. LIL REX (4) has been beaten for early speed lately, last time finishing fifth (34.78) in a Grade 5 at The Meadows. Form at the trip excellent including 11 wins. Key runner on best form. LAKEVIEW IAN (6) box seated before sticking on well to finish 5.5 lengths away in third (42.10) at this track in a Free For All over 715m. Overdue and expected to feature again. PAW FORTRESS (1) is one of the chances after collecting a minor prize last time.

Comments

Big odds last time but gave a huge sight after a fast early split, grabbed late but holding on to a placing when a 6 length third (42.36) over 715m at this track. Capable of playing a big role.

Missed the frame latest (42.72) when fifth over 715m at this track in a Free For All. Still a maiden from the draw but has placed two times. Others rate better this time.

Missed the frame last start when fifth but had been in strong form prior to that, winning three on end before placing two back. Better than last run and looks set to run well.

Caught the eye with a fast early split and setting up a 6 length win at this track over 715m in 41.92. Recorded four placings in a row before she was rewarded with a win most recently. Expected to go well again.
